Several stability issues and measures during the construction process of steel structures in modern dairy cow sheds

1、 Measures for stabilizing the entry of components

(1) During transportation, appropriate vehicles should be selected based on the length and weight of the components.

(2) The components should be leveled with wooden blocks on the transport vehicle, and long components should be marked and tied to ensure that they will not deform or damage the paint coating during transportation.

(3) When loading and unloading operations, follow the instructions of the commanding personnel to prevent injury.

(4) When lifting, the lifting equipment should be used. Various parts that have not been welded or connected tightly cannot be lifted if they are not tightly tied.

(5) Before lifting, loose items should be tied and balanced.

2、 Stability measures for workshop foundation engineering

(1) Make installation templates and control the spacing and height standards between individual bolts within the allowable deviation range.

(2) Fix the bolt group to protect the bolt threads from damage during the concrete pouring process.

3、 Prevent crane tipping over

(1) The road at the lifting site should be flat and solid. If the soil is soft, a single road should be laid.

(2) Oblique lifting is prohibited. An inclined crane can cause overloading, leading to rope breakage and overturning accidents.

(3) The suspension cables for tying components should be calculated.

(4) The binding method should be correct to prevent the suspension cable from breaking or slipping off the components during the lifting process, which may cause weight reduction and overturning of the crane.

(5) All lifting tools should be regularly checked for stability.

(6) Strictly adhere to the "Ten No Lifting" regulations for the operation of lifting machinery.

4、 Measures to prevent falls

(1) High altitude operations should strictly comply with relevant regulations.

(2) When operating at heights, operators should set up stable nets and use stable belts correctly.

(3) Hand climbing of steel columns is not allowed.

(4) If workers need to work at heights, a tool type temporary workstation with a width of 0.8~1.0m should be set up.

(5) If it is necessary to walk on the overhead roof truss, a lifeline should be installed on the top chord of the roof truss.

(6) The ladder used for climbing should be tied with ropes and fixed components to ensure stability.

(7) If the operator is walking on the paved roof panel, they should maintain a high level of concentration to avoid falling when stepping on the roof panel.
